Carolyn saw a growing market for mobile beauty services and started her own mobile spa called "Mobile Beauty." Women were becoming busier and finding it increasingly difficult to get time to come to the spa. By coming to the client it makes it more convenient for them to have their beauty treatments done in their own home. Carolyn has an array of different clients from at-home mothers to business women, and groups of women who enjoy getting together for a spa party.

Mobile Beauty has been in operation since 1999. Carolyn's original goal was to expand and become a larger mobile spa company and franchise. However, her business has taken a different direction then anticipated. After receiving hundreds of requests from other beauty professionals seeking her advice on how to start their own mobile beauty business. Carolyn created an affordable " Mobile Spa Starter Guide" distributed on CD, explaining all the fundamentals of creating a mobile spa business.

"I wanted other people in the beauty industry to reap all the benefits of what I have learned from operating my own mobile spa over the years by creating an affordable guide that everyone could benefit from."

Carolyn launched her new website that sells her start-up guides in 2004. They have sold to people all over world looking to start their own mobile spa business. Carolyn has recently added 3 new cd's to her collection " How to Start a Mobile Hairdressing Business", " How to Start a Mobile Nail Services Business" and " How to Start a Mobile Makeup Business." In the future Carolyn will be adding even more informational CD's to her collection of mobile start-up guides. There are now other products in the works including instructional videos demonstrating how to set-up in the clients home and tips and tricks on how to perform either a manicure /pedicure in 30 mins, which is critical to profitability.
